Washington conditions talks with Tehran on putting nuclear file first

The Wall Street Journal reported that the commander of US Central Command briefed President Donald Trump, with the defense secretary and senior officials present, on options that included a military strike on Iran after the elections. In parallel, Vice President JD Vance sent a message to Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, calling for talks that place the nuclear file at the top of the agenda. The message reportedly also refers to Tehran's economic recovery interests, while lifting sanctions and the blockade is demanded first.
