Military expert Nidal Abu Zeid: US ground task force is intelligence-focused, not operational

US Central Command has set up an intelligence and operations task force to monitor roughly 6,000 kilometres of Iran's border and the Caspian Sea, and to disrupt supply chains for the military industry. The move comes as the military buildup is completed, with heavy cargo aircraft and the USS Roosevelt carrier arriving in the theatre. In the video, military analyst Nidal Abu Zeid assesses that Washington may aim to wear down Tehran through naval and ground pressure without a direct confrontation. He also links the timing to a political deadline in Congress.
