Description from TEDx Talks

We often find ourselves looking ahead, waiting for the next milestone, the next opportunity, or the next chapter, believing that life will truly begin once we get there. Nour Salameh reflects on our tendency to overlook the present while anticipating the future. Her talk invites us to question why we are always waiting for something more and challenges us to recognize the life unfolding in front of us, right now. There’s something strange about the way we experience time now. We spend so much of our lives waiting for the next thing instead of existing in the moments we once wished for. Hi! I’m Nour Salameh, and in my Ted talk I will be reflecting on something we tend to overlook - the feeling of constantly waiting for life to begin. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
