This talk looks at gender inequality in science and the challenges women face in gaining recognition and representation. It discusses how education, stereotypes and the media can make women scientists invisible and limit girls' choices when role models are missing. Nesta palestra, Luísa Berti aborda a desigualdade de gênero na ciência e os desafios enfrentados pelas mulheres para conquistar reconhecimento e representatividade. A partir de reflexões sobre a influência da educação, dos estereótipos e da mídia, a apresentação evidencia como a invisibilização das cientistas e a falta de referências femininas podem limitar as escolhas e oportunidades das meninas. Ao destacar a importância da representatividade e do incentivo desde a infância, a palestra convida o público a questionar preconceitos e reconhecer que a presença feminina na ciência não é uma questão de capacidade, mas de oportunidades, visibilidade e igualdade.
