Descripción de TEDx Talks

Through the course of the talk, the audience will be the jury making the decision about how agriculture affects their everyday life playing on the AI wording. We will take them through the course of what that means in everyday life from a farmer to them as a consumer. In this speech, AI means agricultural intelligence. The goal is for the audience to understand the connections between them and agriculture, even though they are mostly two generations are more removed from the farm. John Buck is a lifelong farmer with 54 years of experience on his family’s land, where he developed an extraordinary ability to read patterns, people, and partnerships with clarity others miss. He now helps organizations uncover hidden connections, break down silos, and lead with precision—earning a reputation as a natural bridge-builder. After surviving a home invasion and attempted murder in 2009, John teaches leaders how to simplify communication, cut through chaos, and stay grounded when it matters most—because in high-stakes moments clarity isn’t optional, it’s life-saving. Rooted in agriculture, John challenges people to think differently, active decisively, and reconnect to what truly sustains them. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
