BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT NITIN NABIN has launched a sharp attack on the Opposition amid the political confrontation over the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) protest against electoral-roll revisions in Delhi. Nabin accused Opposition parties of challenging democracy in the name of the Constitution while relying on what he described as falsehoods. He said such actions insult the public mandate and alleged that repeated electoral defeats had left Opposition leaders frustrated. He warned that the BJP and what he called the patriotic citizens of India would give the Opposition a “fitting and stern response”. The BJP chief also accused Opposition leaders of attempting to create instability and alleged that foreign forces were influencing their political activities. These were Nabin’s allegations; his public remarks did not establish evidence of foreign involvement in the protest. The comments came as CJP leaders and supporters prepared for a “Save Democracy” demonstration demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The protest has triggered a wider political dispute over voter-list revisions, the Election Commission’s role and the rights of citizens to demonstrate peacefully. #NitinNabin #BJP #CJPProtest #RahulGandhi #IndianPolitics n18oc_breakingnews
