Con la atención médica adecuada, el parto suele ser seguro, pero pueden surgir complicaciones graves. With appropriate medical care and facilities, birth can be a perfectly safe, uneventful experience (other than the whole ‘arrival of a baby’ part, which is always eventful!). But serious complications can arise - things like uterine rupture, umbilical cord prolapse, shoulder dystocia, and more that I’ll cover in this video. Why do they happen, what can the consequences be, and what should the medical team do?
