Descripción de TEDx Talks

In this insightful talk, Richard Liu takes us into the world of a group of young cycling enthusiasts he has followed across different parts of Guangzhou. Through his observations and experiences, he explores youth cycling culture and examines how society often views these young riders through negative stereotypes and misconceptions. Richard looks beyond these perceptions to investigate the social factors behind the phenomenon and invites us to reconsider how we judge behaviours and communities we may not fully understand. His talk encourages us to look beyond appearances, question our assumptions, and recognise the importance of understanding different youth subcultures from the perspectives of those who experience them. Grade 11 student at Guangzhou Ulink International School - ULC Division. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
