CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and party leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were detained at Indira Gandhi International Airport after arriving in Delhi on October 10, 2026. According to Reuters, police met Dipke after he arrived from Mumbai and asked him to call off the demonstration, which authorities had banned. The party said Das and Ranka were also detained from their flight upon landing. The detentions come amid an extensive security operation across Delhi ahead of the CJP’s “Save Democracy” mobilisation.
