Descripción de TEDx Talks

Grace Rowe is a Sydney-based keynote speaker, MC and interviewer. She has addressed audiences of more than 6,000 people, presented on the Today Show, and spoken at multiple NSW Government events. Grace grew up racing motocross. At 14 she signed with Kawasaki Australia, and went on to became a State Champion in Motocross and Enduro. In 2022, she became one of only a few women in the country to clear the 75ft pro gap in Freestyle Motocross. Then, an accident changed everything. Airlifted from the track. Three surgeries. Forty-five nights in hospital. Eighteen months of rehabilitation. One of the most important lessons Grace took from her recovery was the value of preparation. “We may not know the specific details of our future, but we do know that it will include challenges.” In her message she asks: If athletes train for the races ahead, are we training for the challenges ahead? If we want to overcome future adversity well, preparation begins now.
