* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Port St. Lucie, Florida — On March 23rd, 2026, a Port St. Lucie Police Officer spotted a motorcyclist, later identified as 20-year-old Malachi Venerin traveling at 103 mph along SW Gatlin Blvd. before an officer attempted to pull him over. Instead of stopping, Venerin allegedly accelerated, striking the officer during the encounter. The impact did not end the pursuit, as Venerin soon lost control, crashed, and fled the scene on foot. The situation grew more chaotic when Venerin ran into a nearby fast-food drive-thru, where investigators say he tried to enter multiple vehicles occupied by customers, raising concerns for public safety. Officers ultimately apprehended him without further incident. A search following the arrest reportedly uncovered a backpack containing a loaded handgun and illegal drugs, along with packaging materials suggesting distribution. Venerin now faces charges including aggravated battery on LEO, fleeing and eluding, possession of concealed firearm in commission of felony, possession of firearm under 21, resisting w/out violence, driving while license suspended, driving motorcycle w/out endorsement, driving an unregistered vehicle, possession of controlled substance (THC cartridges), possession of marijuana with intent to sell (45g with baggies and scale).
