Description de PoliceActivity

* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Baltimore, Maryland — On February 15, 2026, at approximately 12:05 a.m., a Southwest District patrol officer was called to a home in the 800 block of W. Lombard Street for a report of armed individuals attempting to break into the caller's home. Upon arrival, the officer pulled up to a Kia sedan occupied by multiple individuals. The officer exited his vehicle, at which point the driver of the vehicle put it into reverse, striking a parked vehicle. The officer approached the Kia on foot and issued verbal commands for the vehicle to stop and for the occupants to exit. The vehicle reversed again, striking the officer and causing him to fall. The officer discharged his firearm once at the vehicle. The Kia continued to flee, striking another vehicle and the officer’s marked patrol vehicle. The officer then observed a male approached from across the street who appeared to be injured. The male collapsed to the ground, and the officer attempted to render aid and reassure him of his safety. The male sustained injuries prior to the officer’s arrival, as a result of being assaulted by multiple individuals. A short time later, officers found the Kia, unoccupied, in the 100 block of S. Arlington Avenue, after it struck a parked vehicle. Detectives learned the vehicle had been reported stolen on February 14, 2026, at approximately 12:00 p.m., in the 600 block of E. Chase Street. Through the course of the investigation, Detectives identified two suspects who were inside the Kia at the time of this incident. The suspects, two 14-year-old males, were identified through electronic monitoring, as they had previously been charged with robbery and auto theft in prior incidents. Both suspects were arrested on February 16, 2026, and charged with aggravated assault and auto theft. They were transported to Juvenile Booking and detained. Detectives later identified the driver of the Kia, a 14-year-old female. During her arrest on February 17, 2026, officers learned she had sustained a wound to her right wrist which had been treated at an area hospital on February 15th. After a review by detectives and speaking with the juvenile’s mother, detectives were told that the injury may be a gunshot graze wound. Further follow-up is required to determine the cause of the injury. She was subsequently arrested and transported to Juvenile Booking, where she was charged with aggravated assault and stolen auto. She was later released on electronic monitoring. The involved BPD officer is William Cole, a five-year veteran assigned to the Operations Bureau, Southwest District Patrol. He sustained injuries to his ankle and was treated and released from the hospital. 🚨𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑠𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑢𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠. ⚠
