There have been times in my life when I was making nine videos a week, teaching at a university, running a private practice and a sexual health center, while raising kids and myself. Now I don't ever have that energy. My ambition is to keep teaching whenever possible but I have limitations. Which means, sometimes class is held at home on the couch and I share from my heart experiences rather than my research brain. This episode is just that. As a middle-age woman I'm still collecting data, yes, but more of my focus, and I think this is the case for everyone, is on curation -- organizing the information we have. There are a raft of ways I do this in my personal and professional lives that include sexuality. Mainly starting with awareness of the how much and what kinds of information is out there then choosing which to keep and which to let go of.
