In the advocacy sphere, after developing and leading her high school’s environmental action organization for three years, she has gone on to hold secretary, community outreach, and vice president positions on the executive board of Wellesley College YDSA. Colette was awarded the Chatham University Rachel Carson Book Award for excellence in environmental studies, English, and social justice and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Wellesley College in Massachusetts.
