Reportage de BBC News marquant le troisième anniversaire des attaques du 7 octobre 2023 menées par le Hamas, avec une visite auprès des habitants du kibboutz Nir Oz. La vidéo évoque les pertes humaines et les prises d'otages signalées.

As Israel marks the third anniversary of the 7 October Hamas attacks, the BBC has visited residents of kibbutz Nir Oz - one of the worst hit places. Sitting just a mile (1.6km) from the Gaza border, 41 Nir Oz residents and foreign workers were killed along with six people who had fled to the kibbutz from a party nearby. Seventy-six people from the kibbutz were kidnapped to Gaza, including nine bodies. Fourteen of those hostages were taken alive and killed in captivity. During the October 7 attack, about 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken hostage. The ensuing war between Israel and Hamas has killed more than 74,200 people in Gaza according to the Hamas-run health ministry – whose overall figures are seen as accurate by the UN.
