Most people would call him insane. He calls himself Ramen, short for Ramendra Kumar. Ramen has written 55 books, translated into 33 Indian and international languages. His titles published by the National Book Trust, India, have sold over 1.5 million copies. He has participated in international literary festivals and leading Indian events, including the Jaipur Literature Festival, and has received 41 All-India awards for children’s literature.
