Nobody, not Palestinians and not Israelis, should suffer like this. Healthcare is a human right and civilians are bearing the horrifying brunt of suffering in Palestine and Israel. According to the UN, women and children are faring the worst - including the estimated 50,000 pregnant people living in Gaza. This is a humanitarian crisis about which I feel obligated to speak on as an ObGyn and human. I feel just as helpless as many of you do, so I have to use my platform to speak out against the atrocious conditions faced by innocent civilians who just want to bring their babies into the world safely...something we all can understand.
