As the dynamic world of women's sports continues to defy expectations and implement innovative expansion strategies -- positioning itself as one of the most valuable, high-growth assets in the global sports ecosystem -- conversations around the compensation, empowerment, and protection of women athletes remain confined. Ani Minic, a third-year student at NYU and member of Montenegro's Women's National Football Team, leverages her unique personal experiences to outline areas where progress does not sufficiently translate to equity for women in sports.
