Dark Momentum | Jamie Lim | TEDxAteneodeManilaU

The dark momentum represents the unnoticed side of progress. It dives into the pressure, anxiety, and harmful trade-offs that can come with ambition. In sports, it asks how we pursue success while recognizing that there are things more important than winning: not winning by any means, but winning honestly. Jamie Christine Lim is a Filipino karate athlete, courtside reporter, and public figure. A Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, she also graduated summa cum laude in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines Diliman and continues to inspire both on and off the mat. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
