教育の出発点は子どもを形づくることではなく、親や教育者自身の内面の修養にある、というのが講演の主旨です。話し手の陳芳芳（Fangfang Chen）は、自分自身が成長することで他者の心に働きかけるという考えを語ります。18年の教育経験にもとづき、近年は親子関係の改善を支援してきたこと、長く家にこもっていた若者が学校に戻れるよう支えてきたことに触れています。本動画は地域のコミュニティが独自に企画したTEDxイベントでの講演です。
