The male was later identified as 33-year-old Lee Davidson. Shortly after deputies arrived on scene, the victim provided a description of the suspect, his last seen direction of travel, and indicated he was armed with a handgun. A deputy located Davidson on the 17500 block of Grand Avenue, Bellflower. The deputy initiated a high-risk detention as additional deputies responded to assist, during which Davidson was observed with a handgun protruding from his front waistband. Despite repeated commands to raise his hands and get on the ground, Davidson refused to comply. A deputy deployed a TASER 10, but the initial deployment was ineffective. A subsequent TASER 10 deployment caused Davidson to fall to the sidewalk; however, he continued to disregard deputies' commands and reached for the handgun, at which point a deputy-involved shooting occurred. Deputies rendered medical aid to Davidson until the arrival of Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel. Davidson was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No deputies or other persons were injured during this incident. A Polymer-80, .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun, loaded with one live round in the chamber and additional live rounds in the magazine, was recovered at the scene. 🚨𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑠𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑢𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠. ⚠️𝑉𝑖𝑒𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡.⚠️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'William Prowse IV' - 'Quân La' - 'Zixuno' - 'HauntSync.com' - 'Rate A Creator with Omar Alkahlout' - 'Forever A Loner' - KHALID - Michael Griffin - John Doe - 'Twitchypowpow' - Rose - Tyrell Robertson - christine Grinter - 'The Evil Queen' - Benjamin Osgood - LJ - Brianna Wilkins - Elisabeth Craig - Bobby Roach - Cody Stephens - Troy Polansky - Tulla Belle - 'quadrakyiro' - "John B.
