Officers were seeking a vehicle tied to that homicide. Later on that afternoon, this same vehicle was involved in a shots fired incident that occurred near the 1700 Block of North 35th. Shortly thereafter, at approximately 4:47 p.m., officers observed this vehicle and attempted to make a stop. The suspect, later identified as 31-year-old Nicholas Maslowski, fled and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The vehicle pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed on S. 35th Street near West National Avenue. Maslowski exited his vehicle and fired shots towards officers at which time several officers returned fire subsequently striking the suspect. Maslowski’s firearms were recovered. No one else was struck by the gunfire. Maslowski and sole occupant of the suspect vehicle was transported to a hospital and ultimately succumbed to his injuries. A 34-year-old that was in the crash was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. Maslowski had gotten out of prison in December after serving time for a burglary. 🚨𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑠𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑢𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠. ⚠️𝑉𝑖𝑒𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡.⚠️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - Michael Griffin - John Doe - 'Twitchypowpow' - 'MrGiggles-.' - Lillian Daley - Tyrell Robertson - christine Grinter - 'Based Asuka' - 'The Evil Queen' - Benjamin Osgood - Gary Wilson - LJ - Edward Aquino - Brianna Wilkins - Eian Smith - William - Cammy - Elisabeth Craig - Bobby Roach - Sarin Dipity - Becky Hopkins - thomas - Cody Stephens - Troy Polansky - Tulla Belle - 'quadrakyiro' - Scott Mackin - "John B.
