In a striking contrast, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella was honoured at the White House even as the company faced scrutiny over its immigration practices. US President Donald Trump presented Nadella with the National Medal of Technology and Innovation at the “A New Golden Age” summit in Washington, DC, praising his more than three decades at Microsoft and his role in transforming the tech giant.
