Com cuidados médicos adequados, o parto costuma ser seguro, mas complicações graves podem ocorrer. With appropriate medical care and facilities, birth can be a perfectly safe, uneventful experience (other than the whole ‘arrival of a baby’ part, which is always eventful!). But serious complications can arise - things like uterine rupture, umbilical cord prolapse, shoulder dystocia, and more that I’ll cover in this video. Why do they happen, what can the consequences be, and what should the medical team do?
