Currently, the state of Georgia is keeping a brain-dead pregnant woman alive from gestation week 9 onwards due to the state’s abortion laws and AGAINST the wishes of her family. Having seen a similar situation in my training, I’m not saying that the family shouldn’t be allowed to pursue this…but they didn’t even have a choice.
