A che punto il gioco smette di essere una scelta e diventa qualcosa di cui non possiamo più fare a meno? Attraverso una performance che intreccia dati, racconti personali e psicologia, Federica Restani esplora i meccanismi della dipendenza dal gioco d’azzardo: l’adrenalina della vincita, il desiderio di recuperare le perdite e quella spinta a continuare anche quando il gioco comincia a distruggere ciò che conta davvero. Un talk che ci fa capire cosa succede quando il piacere si trasforma in compulsione e come il gioco sia davvero tale solo quando possiamo decidere di iniziare, continuare e, soprattutto, fermarci. Through a performance that weaves together data, personal stories, and psychology, Federica Restani explores the mechanisms of gambling addiction: the adrenaline of a win, the desire to recoup losses, and the urge to keep going—even when the gambling begins to destroy what truly matters. This talk sheds light on what happens when pleasure turns into compulsion, reminding us that gambling is only truly a choice when we have the power to decide when to start, when to continue, and, most importantly, when to stop.
