Описание от TEDx Talks

In What Love Does With Pain, Yvonne Harper explores the powerful journey from hurt and heartbreak to healing and forgiveness. Through a deeply personal story, this talk challenges us to rethink how we carry pain and reveals how choosing forgiveness and love can break the cycle of suffering. It's a moving reminder that pain may teach us how to survive, but forgiveness teaches us how to live again—and love helps us become whole. Yvonne Harper is a government affairs and public policy strategist, educator, and community leader whose work spans education policy, legislative affairs, and strategic communications. She works in government affairs for the Maryland State Department of Education, bridging the gap between government and the people it serves. Drawing from her experiences in leadership, education, and personal transformation, Yvonne encourages others to lead with courage, strengthen communities, and recognize love as a powerful catalyst for change. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
