What if our traditional image of a leader—tied to titles, authority, and corner offices—is fundamentally flawed, especially in the age of artificial intelligence? This presentation challenges the conventional belief that leadership begins only when one is handed a promotion or a team to manage. By analyzing a real-world scenario of an untitled student who demonstrated true leadership by anticipating practical implementation challenges rather than just celebrating an idea, the talk illustrates that leadership is a proactive mindset, not a reactive position. The discussion then explores the shifting landscape of human potential in a technology-driven world. With artificial intelligence now capable of instantly generating strategies, optimizing workflows, and providing countless "how-to" solutions, the core function of a leader must dramatically evolve. The presentation argues that the defining question is no longer how to become a leader, but when you decide to step up. In an era of automated answers, true leadership means knowing how to ask the right questions, deciding what truly deserves human attention, and taking unwavering ownership of the final outcome to contribute back to society.
