With appropriate medical care and facilities, birth can be a perfectly safe, uneventful experience (other than the whole ‘arrival of a baby’ part, which is always eventful!). But serious complications can arise - things like uterine rupture, umbilical cord prolapse, shoulder dystocia, and more that I’ll cover in this video.
