IDBI Bank

The political battle over the proposed sale of IDBI Bank has intensified, with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman hitting back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's criticism of the government's disinvestment decision. Responding to Gandhi's objections, Sitharaman argued that IDBI Bank was handed over to the NDA government in poor financial condition, citing bad loans and lending to large business groups. She credited the government's reforms, professional management and recapitalisation of more than ₹25,000 crore for the bank's financial recovery. #NirmalaSitharaman #RahulGandhi #IDBIBank #IDBIBankSale #IDBIDisinvestment #BankPrivatisation n18oc_breaking-news n18oc_india CNN-News18 is your trusted source for breaking news, updates, and in-depth analysis from around the world.
