Growing up with a disability in Kurdistan brought everyday challenges that most kids never have to face. Instead of dwelling on circumstances beyond his control, a young boy learned to focus on what he could change. In this talk, he shares a grounded, practical story of persistence, hard work, and finding a path forward when the odds are stacked against you. Adam is a Kurdish child living with a disability whose courage, determination, and unwavering spirit have touched the hearts of many. His story reflects a deep sense of belonging and dedication to the Kurdish pursuit of independence, while reminding us that every individual has a meaningful role to play in shaping their nation’s future. Through his strength and perseverance, Adam has become a powerful symbol of inclusion, sacrifice, and devotion. His journey demonstrates that determination knows no boundaries—and that even the smallest voice can carry a powerful message of hope, identity, and national pride.
