Democracy depends on more than voting. This talk explores the rights, freedoms, education and accountability that must work together for democracy to remain meaningful and strong. Originally from the Philadelphia area and based in Spain for nearly two decades, Anthony Verrecchio has dedicated his career to education, human rights, media, and culture. As Executive Director of RFK Human Rights Spain and professor at CIS University, he combines global awareness, critical thinking, and a strong belief in the power of education to inspire meaningful change.
