Military expert: Coalition strikes on energy facilities aim to weaken the Houthis economically

Military expert Hassan Jouni assesses the widening confrontation between the Houthis and the coalition, noting a shift in the type of targets and the reach of mutual strikes, including Dammam. He also points to strikes hitting oil and energy infrastructure in Sanaa. According to Jouni, the coalition's attacks on power stations and oil facilities are part of a broader strategy to drain resources and weaken the Houthis' economic and military capabilities. He considers a final military resolution in Yemen unlikely under current conditions.
