Fake parking certificate applications lead to arrest of two men
Two men in Japan have been arrested on suspicion of submitting parking certificate applications that falsely listed an uncontracted rental parking lot as a vehicle storage location. The pair are reported to have repeated such false applications more than 50 times for cars with unpaid loans that were not registered in their names. Some of the vehicles were reportedly passed to people linked to organized crime. Suspect Miyazaki Shun denies the charges, saying he cannot recall any involvement.
