Description from TEDx Talks

The world is shifting, and we’re exploring paths others overlook. Falk Zenker, a master guitarist and composer, embodies this idea. He doesn’t just play music; he uses live-looping and daring experimentation to build entirely new sound worlds right on stage. His performance is a spectacular answer to “Now What?” — showing us that creativity means constantly challenging the predictable, breaking boundaries and embracing the unknown. Guitarist, composer, and sound artist Falk Zenker was recently named one of "the most creative nylon-string guitarists in the country" by the trade magazine "Akustik Gitarre" and has performed approximately 2,000 solo concerts both in Germany and abroad with his imaginative and associative music. He also tours with his ensemble Nu:n (medieval music in a new guise) and realizes various sound art projects and music for film, television, theater, audiobooks, and self-exploration. The classically trained guitarist blends elements of jazz, classical, flamenco, and medieval music with improvisation and live looping to create a unique sonic language. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
