French port workers strike over arms transfers to Israel

According to Al Jazeera correspondent Noureddine Bouzian, about 95% of port and harbour workers in France are expected to take part in a work stoppage. The initiative was proposed by the General Confederation of Labour and endorsed by European trade unions at a meeting in Istanbul last May, according to its organisers. The strike is a protest against the transfer of weapons to Israel.
