GMO confirms release of data by alleged attacker; accessing published site is "dangerous"

GMO Internet Group said it has confirmed that a party believed to be an attacker has published information that it claims belongs to users of its services. The company said the information published around 12:30 p.m. on October 27 is under review and may contain content that differs from the facts. Users were urged not to access the published site or spread the information, as doing so could expose viewers' data to further harm. GMO said it is preparing legal action against malicious sharing and that it will separately consider condolence payments for users whose personal information is confirmed to be included.

GMOインターネットグループは攻撃者とみられる者がサービスの利用者のものと称する情報を公開したことを確認したと発表しました。 　GMOによりますと、27日午後0時半に攻撃者とみられる者が公開した情報を確認しました。 　内容は確認中だとしたうえで、「事実と異なる内容が含まれる恐れがある」としています。 　また、利用者に対し、公開したサイトにアクセスすると閲覧した人の情報が取得されて二次被害を拡大させる恐れがあるとして、アクセスや拡散をしないように呼び掛けています。 　悪質な拡散に対しては法的措置の準備をしているということです。 　公開された情報に個人情報が含まれていると確認された利用者への見舞金は一律のものと別途、検討します。 　GMOは予告されていたランサムウェア攻撃は午後1時55分時点で確認していないとしています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
