Unexplained Oil on Road Causes Repeated Slips and Falls in Guangdong, China

A series of slip accidents occurred on a road in Guangdong province in southern China, where an unexplained oil covering the surface is believed to be the cause. A passenger car suddenly spun and hit a building, and about ten seconds later a scooter lost its balance, followed by a motorcycle rider who fell after being called out to from the roadside. Local media reported that authorities are investigating where the oil came from. The curve appears gentle, but similar falls had occurred shortly before.
