Gundam member data leak affects about 350,000 records through unauthorized access

Personal information of about 350,000 members of a Gundam fan membership service has been reported leaked. According to Bandai Namco Entertainment and others, the company entrusted with sending fan emails reported unauthorized access on the 26th. The leaked data includes 346,247 member email addresses, while names, addresses, passwords and credit card information are said not to be included. No unauthorized use of the data has been confirmed so far, and readers are advised to watch for spoofed emails.

「ガンダム」のファン向け会員サービスで、個人情報およそ35万件が漏洩（ろうえい）しました。 　バンダイナムコエンターテインメントなどによりますと、26日に「ガンダム」のファン向けのメール配信を委託していた会社から、不正アクセスの報告を受けたということです。 　会員サービスに登録されていた34万6247件のメールアドレスなどが漏洩しましたが、氏名や住所、パスワード、クレジットカードの情報は含まれていません。 　今のところ、不正利用などの被害は確認されていないとしています。 　なりすましメールなどに注意するよう呼び掛けています。
