Hairdresser arrested on suspicion of indecent assault during treatment; partly denies charges

A hairdresser has been arrested on suspicion of committing an indecent act against a woman in her 20s during a salon treatment in Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture. He is also suspected of confining her in the back of the shop and touching her body. According to police, the suspect, Tatsuya Suzuki (26), has partly denied the charges, saying the woman consented and that he did not recognize that he had confined her. The incident is reported to have taken place in June.
