Cosplayers gather at Ikebukuro Halloween festival and pose for cameras

The Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival took place in Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, described as one of the largest Halloween cosplay events in Japan. On October 31, Halloween day, many cosplayers and photographers gathered, and participants in colorful costumes posed and made expressions for the cameras. The report says Toshima Ward and companies are working together to hold an event where people of all ages can enjoy Halloween safely. The event runs until November 1.

東京・豊島区池袋では国内最大級のハロウィンコスプレイベントが開かれ、秋晴れのもと、色とりどりの衣装に身を包んだ人たちで街は熱気に包まれました。 　ハロウィンの10月31日、池袋では「池袋ハロウィンコスプレフェス」が開催されました。 　会場では多くのコスプレイヤーとカメラマンが集まり、思い思いの衣装をまとったコスプレイヤーたちはカメラを前に様々な表情やポーズを披露し、訪れた人たちを沸かせました。 「海賊王のコスプレです。体から仕上げました。自前です」 「3人姉妹です。長女、次女、三女」 「（Q.それは何順？）年齢順です。キキになって13年目ぐらい。毎年、気が付いたらキキになっています」 　近年、都内では条例の改正によってハロウィンのイベントに対して自粛を求める自治体もあります。 　「池袋ハロウィンコスプレフェス」では、豊島区と企業が連携してハロウィンイベントを開くことで、子どもから大人まで安心・安全にハロウィンを楽しめることを目指しています。 池ハロフェス　プロデューサー　橋口雄樹さん 「池ハロとしてはコスプレイヤーさん、カメラマンさんや地域の方々、老若男女が楽しんでいただける場所になればなと思っています」 　イベントは11月1日まで開かれます。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
