Insurance fraud: three men arrested over false 'sprained wrist' claim

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of obtaining insurance payouts by falsely reporting a sprained wrist to an insurer. According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, suspect Hirota Mizu, 35, and two others allegedly instructed a man in his 40s to file the false claim two years ago, obtaining 90,000 yen. Police say Mizu received a 400,000 yen 'support fee' for teaching the method, contacted through social media, and are investigating whether he received about 80 million yen in total.
