ATMs and Counter Services Halted at Credit Cooperatives in Western Japan

A system failure has disabled all ATMs and suspended counter transactions at 128 shinkin credit cooperatives located west of the Tokai region. The disruption started around 1:30 p.m. and has prevented deposits and withdrawals. Shinkin Central Cooperative Center, which provides ATM systems to cooperatives nationwide, said it is investigating whether unauthorized access is involved. Cooperatives in eastern Japan are operating as usual.

東海地区より西にある128の信用金庫でシステム障害が発生し、ATMや窓口での取引ができなくなっています。 　全国の信用金庫にATMなどのシステムを提供している「しんきん共同センター」によりますと、6日午後1時半から、静岡や愛知より西にある128の信用金庫ですべてのATMが使えなくなっています。 　また、3430店舗の窓口でも取引が停止するなど、入金や出金ができなくなっています。 　通信障害によるトラブルで不正アクセスが関係しているのかは現在調査中です。 　東日本の信用金庫では通常通り取引ができているということです。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
