Jio IPO to open on October 21, aiming to raise around Rs 30,000 crore

The Jio Platforms IPO is set to open on October 21 and close on October 23. The company has set a price band of Rs 1,065 to Rs 1,119 per share and plans to raise about Rs 30,213 crore through the issue. Reports mention interest from sovereign wealth funds and large institutional investors. A major part of the proceeds will be used to repay debt of Jio's subsidiaries.
