31 people fall ill after curry at Kakegawa city hall children's cafeteria

At a children's cafeteria held on the second floor of Kakegawa City Hall in Shizuoka Prefecture, 31 children and parents who ate curry rice on the 15th reported symptoms including stomach pain. Clostridium perfringens, a bacterium that causes food poisoning, was detected. The prefecture ordered the restaurant that supplied the food to suspend business, and the 31 people are reported to be recovering.
