Woman restaurant owner killed in Kanoya; suspect had dispute with her three years earlier

Police in Kanoya, Kagoshima Prefecture, say a restaurant owner was killed at her home, and that she had previously consulted them about a dispute with a man she had once had arrested. The suspect, Takaaki Higo (59), a restaurant operator, is alleged to have entered the home of Satsuki Osumi (49), strangled her and taken cash. Higo denies the charges. Police believe the two were alone between the early hours and the morning of the day her death was confirmed.

鹿児島県鹿屋市で飲食店経営の女性が自宅で殺害された事件で、3年前に女性が逮捕された男とのトラブルを警察に相談していたことが分かりました。 　鹿屋市の飲食店経営・肥後隆昭容疑者（59）は7月、飲食店を経営する大隅さつきさん（49）の自宅に侵入して首を圧迫するなどして殺害し、現金を奪うなどした疑いが持たれています。 　警察は、死亡が確認された日の未明から早朝の間に2人きりでいたとみていますが、肥後容疑者は容疑を否認しています。 　関係者によりますと、肥後容疑者は大隅さんの店の常連です。 　警察によりますと、大隅さんは3年前にも肥後容疑者とのトラブルを警察に相談していたということです。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
