Small fishing boat runs aground on Kitaibaraki coast, two crew in cardiac arrest

A small fishing boat ran aground on the coast of Kitaibaraki city in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, and two crew members fell into the sea. Both are reported to be in critical condition in cardiac and respiratory arrest. The boat carried three people, including a 91-year-old captain who is conscious and able to talk. The Ibaraki Regional Coast Guard is investigating the situation.

7日午前、茨城県北茨城市の海岸で船が座礁し、乗組員2人が海に転落しました。2人は心肺停止の重体だということです。 　午前8時50分ごろ、北茨城市中郷町の海岸で「船が座礁している」という通報がありました。 　茨城海上保安部によりますと、船は小型漁船で、91歳の船長と2人の乗組員の合わせて3人が乗っていました。 　乗組員は船長の息子と娘で、この2人が海に転落し、心肺停止の重体です。 　船長は意識があり、会話ができる状態だということです。 　茨城海上保安部が詳しい状況を調べています。 [テレ朝NEWS] https://news.tv-asahi.co.jp
