A small fishing boat ran aground on a coastline in Kitaibaraki, Ibaraki Prefecture, and two crew members fell into the sea. Reports say both are in critical condition in cardiac arrest. The emergency call came in shortly before 8:50 a.m. The 91-year-old captain is conscious and able to talk. The Ibaraki Coast Guard is investigating the circumstances.
