Woman rescues baby koala from python in Brisbane, Australia

A woman walking her dog in Brisbane, eastern Australia, came across a distressed koala on the ground. A python had wrapped around a baby koala. She rescued the young animal, checked that it was uninjured, and returned it to a tree. The snake was small, so the koala is believed to have not been swallowed. The woman carried the python several hundred metres away and released it after seeing the baby reunited with its mother.
