Sakie Yokota: "I want to see her even once" – 49 years since Megumi Yokota's abduction

Ahead of the 49th anniversary of Megumi Yokota's abduction by North Korea, her mother Sakie Yokota (90) spoke at a press conference. She said she wants to see her daughter at least once, even without knowing her current condition. Sakie Yokota also urged Megumi to stay healthy and keep living. Megumi was abducted on November 15, 1977, while walking home from a junior high school in Niigata city.
